How much electricity does a Bitcoin miner use?

Power draw is specific to each device, typically 10–20 W for a small home/solo unit up to 3,000–3,500 W for an industrial ASIC like an Antminer S21. Multiply watts by 24 and divide by 1,000 for daily kWh, then by your utility's per-kWh rate for daily electricity cost — this calculator does that automatically from the wattage you enter or the miner you pick.

What electricity price makes Bitcoin mining break even?

Break-even electricity price is the rate at which a miner's daily revenue exactly equals its daily electricity cost — above it, mining loses money; below it, it profits. It depends on the miner's efficiency and current network difficulty and BTC price, so it changes as those do. This calculator shows the exact current break-even rate for any miner or custom hashrate/power combination.

How do I project Bitcoin mining profit over multiple years?

Every figure comes from those assumptions, not a guess baked into the tool; change any of them and the whole projection recomputes.
